Weekly World Geography Update
For the week of 3/23-3/29
This week we were introduced to south west Asia or the Middle East, without Egypt but Afghanistan instead. We did our maps on Tuesday and Wednesday, on our political map we had to have all the religions on it and this part of the world has a vast majority of Islamic people. On Thursday and Friday we presented our African masks, I was third to go up and talk about my mask. My mask was the mask of the flowing earth or quicksand and looked like this:it has a bite guard so you can just wear it with out any hands.

For the Bored, revisit #2
This week I would love to tell you and anyone drifting through my blog about something that I keep very dear to my heart: Food. All types of food. Well except of course strange organs like brains and livers, which by the way are horrible for you, but excluding that I enjoy many types of food. I very much enjoy Oriental food, and European food. I think that American food is very boring and way to over used, the exception being Bar B Q. I really don't like fast food even though French fries are very good, its not worth dying over them. Chocolate is gross, very gross, I don't care what anyone says but Chocolate is gross.

Weekly World Geography Update
For the Week of 3/16-3/22
This week in world geography we studied for the unit test over Africa on Tuesday by playing a vocab game where we compete for points. On Wednesday we had a the test, it combined the map test and the regular test, also it had the two seminar questions on it, which we had to write a paragraph about the topic with sources. On Thursday we watched a video about the genocide in Darfur. Learning about how little we did about all of the genocides that happened enrages me, so much so that i would be willing to give my life to make sure something gets done about this and any other kinds of conflicts the our "beautiful" country has so much neglected.

For the Bored, revisit #1
Like i said in my first "for the bored" post I'm a super nerd, and to support that fact I will give you something thing that I'm proud about. First off my computer is very nice, maybe not the best but something to be proud about. It has an intel overclocked dual core processor, an ASUS motherboard, an 8600 GTS nvidia "superclocked" video card, and about 3 fans two I added just because i had them laying around. FOr anyone who doesn't know what overclocked or superclock means it is when you have a computer component and the manufacture gave it a speed where the component works at, lets use my processor for example both of the individual processors run at a speed of 1.8 ghz (gigahertz) and I have them overclocked at 1.85 ghz. The problem with overclocking is that it can increase the amount of hardware failures and computer crashes you have.

Weekly World Geography Update
For the week of 3/2-3/8
This week we had our Socratic seminars on both the genocides in Rwanda and in Darfur. In these socratic seminars we sit in two circles the inner circle are the people who talk and discuss with each other the topic, and after each round of discussions the circles switch out and they start off again. The seminar is started off by someone reading the main idea question, for the Rwanda one was; " Who do you think is worse the man who beats his wife, or the neighbor that hears it and says nothing?; and the Darfur one was; "If you made a horrible mistake, would you make it again?". We also learned about our African mask project and about the types of mask the tribes in Africa still wear.

Weekly World Geography Update
Week of 2/24-3/01:
This week in geography our class learned about the Genocide in Rwanda and about the Socratic seminar we will preform on Monday. We got three papers over the Genocide and we watched a movie, called Ghosts of Rwanda. In my opinion the entire thing was handled horrible wrong by the UN and the USA, and pretty much the entire world. Hundreds of thousands of people were killed and we could have stopped it.
